I used to be only an occasional customer here, but recently have been visiting more regularly. Apart from the excellent quality seafood, it is the helpfulness of the proprietors that really stands out. If they don't have what you need immediately available, they will happily pick it up for you, ready to collect the next day and it is always carefully selected and as good as you would choose for yourself. So thanks for the delicious oysters, tasty mussels, and most recently the incredible sea bream that we turned into Chinese style Spicy Baked Fish.Owner response
Thank you for your rating and the photos! Looks absolutely delicious 🐟
Very friendly accomodating shop owner Gary, who with a little notice can get what you require. I bought a few crab legs ate them before I was halfway home and went back for more. Very fresh very tasty. I'll be back every week now.

Excellent fish mongers! I have been coming to to Pier 39 for a couple years after a recommendation from a friend. The fish is delicious and Gary is always so helpful.

I ordered a crab and was not let down, I made an exquisite crab Risotto with a brown meat sauce for the wife's birthday. Gary opened it up and checked it & took the feathers out. Excellent produce and service.

Visited here yesterday for the first time. Lovely shop with an amazing owner to match, very friendly, amazing service and fresh fish. I called before hand and the shop owner was so helpful. Will definitely be coming back again. After being once I can see why all the other reviews are so good.

Great place to get your fresh fish Forget the supermarkets get it nice and fresh from a knowledgeable fishmonger. If you want something special order it in advance and he will do his best to source it for you.

What a lovely shop, we’re so happy to have found Pier 39. Ordered Mussels for Christmas Eve Dinner and they were best that we’ve had in a long time. They were so big & very tasty, we will definitely be back for more in 2021. Lovely friendly staff too, we would highly recommend 😄
